1. Your Account
You must provide accurate information when creating a Contach account and are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use Contach. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Contach to:
- Upload or import contact data you do not have a lawful basis to hold or process;
- Harass, stalk, defame, or otherwise infringe the rights of any third party via the Service;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to Contach's infrastructure or other users' data;
- Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam);
- Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt or overload the Service; or
- Violate any applicable law, including data-protection and export-control regulations.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice, at our reasonable discretion.
3. LinkedIn Import and Third-Party Data
Contach lets you import your own LinkedIn "Connections.csv" export to populate your contact list. You represent that you are authorized to import and process this data under LinkedIn's own terms and applicable data-protection law, and that you will use it solely for your own personal relationship management, not for bulk marketing or resale.
4. Subscriptions, Billing, and AI Usage
Contach offers a free Basic plan and a paid Pro plan. Certain AI-powered features (such as voice-note logging and AI-assisted card scanning) are metered: Basic accounts receive a limited monthly allotment, while Pro accounts receive expanded or unlimited usage as described in the app at the time of purchase.
Payments are processed securely through your device's native app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not collect or store your payment card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled; you can cancel at any time from your device's app-store subscription settings (Apple App Store or Google Play), effective at the end of the current billing period. Fees already charged are non-refundable except where required by law.
We may adjust monthly usage allotments or introduce new metered features over time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers of material changes to plan limits in advance.
5. Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to the contact data, notes, and media you upload to Contach ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of Your Content, and we do not sell it.
6. Intellectual Property
The Contach name, logo, and application code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding except as necessary to use the Service as intended.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED SUGGESTIONS (SUCH AS ICEBREAKERS OR SUMMARIES) WILL BE ACCURATE. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT BEFORE RELYING ON IT.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONTACH AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
9. Termination
You may stop using Contach and delete your account at any time from Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete Account, which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post material changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Contach's operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
